After nearly five years together, Abbey Romeo and David Isaacman have gone their separate ways – and now Abbey’s mom, Christine Romeo, is revealing the real reason behind the split.
Abbey Romeo and David Isaacman gained a large following and a devoted fanbase after appearing on the popular Netflix dating show Love on the Spectrum, where people with autism seek love.
Abbey and David met during the show’s first season back in 2021. Their first date took place at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, and viewers quickly saw them hit it off. Romance was in the air, and it became clear they both felt a genuine spark.
Over the years, fans have followed their relationship both on the show and on social media, getting to share in some of their most special moments. Viewers have cheered them on, and for many, the couple has been both inspiring and a joy to watch. Recently, however, fans were saddened when news broke that the couple had split after nearly five years together.
“Sadly, it’s true that David and Abbey broke up,” an insider told the US Sun. “They couldn’t come to an agreement on when to get married. She was ready years ago, he still needed time.”
