Donald Trump has been putting his name on the Kennedy Center in Washington and renaming the West Palm Beach airport. Now, a new poll reveals what the American people really think of the president’s initiative.
President Donald Trump has spared no time to secure his name in the history books. Besides his rather unconventional presidential terms, he has made sure his name will remain, as several buildings have been renamed.
Earlier this year, the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts was renamed after both the former president and President Donald Trump. It followed a vote by the board of trustees, all handpicked by Trump himself.
The decision sparked rage among the public, politicians, and the Kennedy family.
Jack Schlossberg, a grandson of former President Kennedy and a Democrat running for Congress in New York, took to X to criticize Trump.
He wrote, “Trump can take the Kennedy Center for himself. He can change the name, shut the doors, and demolish the building. He can try to kill JFK. But JFK is kept alive by us now rising up to remove Donald Trump, bring him to justice, and restore the freedoms generations fought for.”
