As she looked up, her eyes met those of the bully. There was no fear in her gaze, only resolve. The whispers around them began to hush as the crowd sensed the shift, unsure of what was about to happen.

“You’re right,” Anna said, her voice steady, surprising even herself. “It’s none of my business what you do. But it’s everyone’s business when someone gets hurt. You can threaten me all you want, but I won’t apologize for doing the right thing.”The bully’s smirk faltered, confusion clouding his features. This wasn’t how it was supposed to go. “What are you talking about?” he demanded, his voice losing some of its edge.

Anna took a step forward, her confidence growing. “You don’t know who I am because you’ve never bothered to look past your own reflection. But I know who I am, and I won’t let fear rule my life anymore.”
