Donald Trump ‘deliberately’ acts unpredictably as a strategy, claims officials

However, this might be a strategy, as the newspaper reports that Trump deliberately chose to act unpredictably. Senior officials said he wanted to seem as unstable and offensive as possible, thinking this would push Iran to negotiate. At the same time, he also cared about how people reacted, and asked his aides, “How’s it playing?”

Still, the fact that Trump is erratically posting on social media has had many concerned, not least a newly posted video of Frank Sinatra.

On Saturday, the 79-year-old president posted a nearly 4-minute clip of Frank Sinatra’s live performance of “My Way” on Truth Social. Trump didn’t add any context, which sparked widespread speculations about his intentions.

The text to the song reads, “And now, the end is near, and so I face the final curtain. My friend, I’ll say it clear, I’ll state my case, of which I’m certain, I’ve lived a life that’s full, I traveled each and every highway, and more, much more than this, I did it my way.”

The song continues, “Regrets, I’ve had a few, but then again, too few to mention. I did what I had to do and saw it through without exemption. I planned each charted course, each careful step along the byway, and more, much more than this, I did it my way.”

Concerns over Donald Trump after the president shares “the end is near” clip of Frank Sinatra

On social media, people speculated whether Trump is doing OK and what the My Way song could refer to. One person asked: “Is he foreshadowing his demise….?”

A second wrote, “I would focus more on the ‘I did it my way’ than ‘the end is near’.”

A third added, “Such a chilling subliminal. Either the end is near for us or Donald Trump. Either way, this series gets no better anytime soon.”

“Trump sharing those exact lines from My Way feels like a clear signal. He plans to finish the Iran situation exactly on his terms with no regrets and no bending to outside pressure. Straight message that he will see it through his own path,” a fourth user wrote.

Donald Trump has never been a big fan of talking about his health. However, in January, his words about aspirin might have hinted at how he sees himself.

He told the Wall Street Journal, “They say aspirin is good for thinning out the blood, and I don’t want thick blood pouring through my heart. I want nice, thin blood pouring through my heart. Does that make sense?”
