Lorraine Gilbert, a 30-year-old mom of six, loved finding affordable treasures at flea markets. Thrift shopping gave her a sense of joy and a little time for herself. One day, she spotted a sofa for $100. Though it had a few flaws, she felt it was a great find and quickly bought it. Her husband Harry wasn’t impressed and doubted her choice, but Lorraine proudly brought it home.
As Harry helped move the sofa inside, he noticed a small zipper underneath. Out of curiosity, he opened it and found a pair of sparkling earrings.
