“You can go f**k yourself”

The moment happened when Curtis arrived at the event and spotted 66-year-old actor Allison Janney, who was wearing a bold outfit featuring a black blazer, sheer tights, and no pants. Curtis reacted instantly with excitement and admiration.

“You can go f**k yourself,” she said, before moving in to give Janney a hug.

The comment was clearly meant as affectionate hype rather than insult, with the interaction quickly going viral after Janney shared it on Instagram.

Janney later posted about the event, writing: “What a thrill to attend the @lasculturistas awards!

“Thank you @fayedunaway and @mattrogerstho and for my favorite red carpet shout out @jamieleecurtis I adore you! Also @sethmcfarlane for my favorite animated shout out.

“Don’t miss the Las Culturistas Culture Awards airing August 5th on @BravoTV and streaming on @Peacock! #CultureAwards2025… Oh also, I want to thank my glam team!”

Fans quickly picked up on the playful tone of the exchange, praising Curtis for her enthusiastic support. One user commented: “If you’re ever having a bad day @allisonbjanney you just need to come to this post and rewatch Jamie Lee Curtis reaction to you,” adding, “A literal Goddess.”

Another wrote: “Jamie Lee’s response to seeing Queen Janney’s whole outfit was THE best response! We are all feeling the same.”

A third added: “Love seeing women supporting women.”

Curtis has long been known for championing her fellow actors and speaking openly about issues in the industry, especially around beauty standards and authenticity. She has previously criticized cosmetic pressure on women in Hollywood, saying the industry can “wipe out generations of natural human appearance.”

She has also revealed that she once underwent plastic surgery herself – an experience she quickly came to regret. “It was not a good thing for me to do,” she admitted.

Her reputation as a supportive force was also on display at the 2023 Golden Globes, when she celebrated Michelle Yeoh’s win for Everything Everywhere All at Once, cheering her on as she became emotional on stage.

Curtis later turned that moment into a printed T-shirt, describing it as a symbol of “women supporting other women.”
