‘Ghostbusters’ star Jennifer Runyon dead at 65

Born on April 1, 1960, in Chicago, Illinois, Jennifer Runyon became well known in the 1980s thanks to several popular film and television roles.

Many fans remember her memorable appearance in the opening scene of Ghostbusters. She also played Gwendolyn Pierce on the sitcom Charles in Charge, which helped make her a recognizable face on television.

Over the years, she appeared in a number of well-known TV series, including Quantum LeapMurder, She Wrote, and Magnum P.I.. She later stepped back from acting to focus more on her family and other pursuits. Jennifer is survived by her husband, basketball coach Todd Corman, and their two children, Wyatt and Bayley.
