
Todd Meadows died while filming Discovery Channel’s Deadliest Catch.
Now, the 25-year-old’s mother has spoken out following the tragic incident.
Todd Meadows, known for from Discovery Channel’s Deadliest Catch, tragically passed away while working in the Bering Sea, on Feb 25.
According to his bunkmate Trey John Green III, the 25-year-old fisherman went overboard while crabbing aboard the Aleutian Lady.
The tragedy occurred as production wrapped for season 22 of Deadliest Catch amd the vessel’s cameras captured the incident.
“Discovery is done filming, but there was a producer and a deck cam guy on the boat for the past two months filming for season 22 of the show,” he told Us Weekly.
“It was filmed, unfortunately.”
Although first responders reached Todd about 10 minutes later, they were unable to revive him. He was then transported to Dutch Harbor, Alaska.
“We did everything we could to save him,” Green said.
