80’s supermodel and Dallas star Annabel Schofield dies at 62

Former model and actress Annabel Schofield has died at the age of 62 after a courageous battle with brain cancer.

As per reports, the Welsh supermodel and actress, who captured international attention in the 1980s before transitioning to acting and film production, passed away died on February 28 in Los Angeles.

Schofield started her career in London’s fashion scene, rising to become one of the defining faces of 1980s style. The young model appeared on hundreds of international magazine covers, starring in campaigns for brands including Yves Saint Laurent, Versace, Rimmel, Revlon, and Boots No. 7.

One of her most memorable moments came in a commercial for Bugle Boy Jeans, when she drove through the desert in a black Ferrari and delivered perhaps her most famous line: “Excuse me, are those Bugle Boy jeans you’re wearing?”

Schofield later moved to the U.S., where she made the jump across to acting. She is perhaps best known for her role as Laurel Ellis on the popular primetime drama Dallas, appearing in 12 episodes of the show’s 11th season.
