Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice have ended up in the center of attention after their father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly known as Prince Andrew, was arrested a few weeks ago. Now, the Royal Family has banned them from royal events for the foreseeable future.
The Royal Family has been shaken to the core following the revelation of former Prince Andrew’s close connection to the late convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. Meanwhile, as the Epstein files have been released, it’s been known that his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, also has links to him.
Their children, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, have both kept themselves outside the spotlight, but reports suggest they have cut ties with their father after the latest revelations. A few weeks ago, he was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in office.
Beatrice and Eugenie have reportedly had “different approaches” to their parents’ involvement in the Epstein scandal. They are said to have struggled to cope with the release of the latest files.
Per Express, quoting Radar Online, a source said, “Beatrice has always had a fiercely loyal streak, especially when it comes to her father. Her instinct is to stand by Andrew and show solidarity, regardless of the public backlash.”
“She feels that turning away in difficult moments would only deepen the fracture,” they added.
